A few weeks ago, @FrisoRaemaekers sent me a really interesting graph on Twitter. I'm including the infographic below:
While the picture focuses on the states with the highest EHR adoption rates, it's interesting to note the line with the leading countries in EHR usage. Did you know the Netherlands cam in first with 98% of medical offices using EHRs? Interesting fact - they also have the 9th fastest internet speeds in the world (the US isn't even in the top 10). I wonder if the two are connected? Or maybe, technology is just so integrated with the culture that switching to EHRs never posed much of a problem.
