During the Pennsylvania HOSA State Leadership Conference, we met with a vendor who sold, in addition to other materials, Latin textbooks. Like he said, medical terminology seems to trip up even the most intelligent students. But when you boil all the terminology down to basics - most of it is based in Latin.

Because of that, we're including some free Latin language resources below. So if you're just starting your nursing education or want to brush up on medical terminology, this might be a good way to do so.
Learn Latin - This simple, clean website has lessons, dictionaries and phrases for you to study. It's a great way to get your feet wet or supplement a class.
MyLanguages - This site has numbers, grammer, word lists and more. It also has a Latin Translator so you can practice your skills and see if you've translated things properly.
The London Latin Course - This series of videos allows you to learn Latin from the ground up.
