One of our employees recently had to renew her nursing license and found herself stuck looking for continuing education credits to complete. It's amazing how quickly renewal years can sneak up and how elusive CE credits can be.
So we thought it'd be a good idea to share some resources for anyone else needing to handle a license renewal. Nurse.com hosts a really good variety of classes and you can purchase an unlimited membership that allows you to take as many hours as you'd like.
Here were some classes we thought were particularly relevant:
Nursing Informatics: This session will describe how technology can be used to benefit the field of nursing.
Document it Right: Would Your Charting Stand up to Scrutiny: This course is really great to step back from Electronic Charting and think about the basics behind it all.
Delegating to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel: For any Nursing Instructors who work with LPNs or RNs this is a great refresher on points to mention when working with students on delegation skills.
