We recently had a school ask us if our program could be used to demonstrate clinic/office skills as well as hospital skills.
- A new nurse listened while the doctor was yelling, "Typhoid! Tetanus! Measles!"The new nurse asked another nurse, "Why is he doing that?"The other nurse replied, "Oh, he just likes to call the shots around here."
- You know you're a nurse when discussing dismemberment over a gourmet meal seems perfectly normal.
- You know you live with a nurse when.. you forget to flush the toilet, you get a complete analysis with a plan on how to correct any noted problems.
We're at HOSA Nationals for the second year in a row and happy to be a part of such a great organization. While our whole team can't be at the conference (we also participate in SkillsUSA!), our Founder and Fearless Leader, Diane Yeager, will be present and presenting.

For non-nurses, it may come as a surprise that math is such a big factor in nursing education and nursing in general. But here at EHR Tutor, we understand just how crucial it is for a nurse to be able to determine the correct dosage of a medication or attach the proper amount of fluid in an IV bag.

Instructors work hard -- really hard! -- during the school year so a nice, long summer break is well earned. However, it doesn't hurt to spend just a few vacation hours during those three months to brush up on a few new skills.
